What a week!! Yesterday was our transfer day in the mission field which is why I was unable to write. Sorry for not giving a warning, but every 6 weeks our Pday will be on Tuesdays due to traveling and changing areas, which brings me to the next big news.... Elder Ashby and I have gone our seperate ways, he is now serving in a suburb of Rosario while I am privledged to stay here in wonderful La Emilia :) My new comps name is Elder Howevef, from Huntington Beach California. He is awesome fun loving free spirited guy who is able to connect with people like I've never seen. He just finished as an assistant and only has 2 transfers left in the mission. La Emilia is his first small town to serve in, we're super excited and grateful for the oppurtuninty to work together!
This past week was filled with amazing spiritual experiences that are hard to describe. I can feel the Holy Spirity truly guiding us to people who are prepared to recieve the message of the gospel. We were able to program three people for baptisimal dates! During these lessons the spirit was incredibly present and I know it testified to the hearts of our investigators the truthfullness of our message. Looking back I am ever grateful for the Gift of Tongues, without the Holy Ghose their is no way my language could be where it is. It is a gift I ever pray to remain worthy of. :)
My love and appreciation for the Book of Mormon has truly been strengenthened this week. I am so grateful for this precious gift in my life and the opportunity we all have to study it each and every day. In Preach My Gospel we read an amazing promise that says "Those who know little or nothing about the Savior will come to know him by reading pondering, and praying about the Book of Mormon" I have a deep love and appreciation for our Savior Jesus Christ and know that by studying from the Book of Mormon we all can come to know him a little better :)
He is the way.. Stay strong I love all of you so much. Thank you for the prayers they are always felt
Elder Larsen :)
