During this special Christmas week I hope all of you enjoy time together as family and friends reflecting on the humble birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. Here in the mission field we have the privilege of coming to know Him on a more personal scale and in helping others as well apply his teachings into their lives, it is a blessing I am ever grateful for.
This past Tuesday we had the opportunity to reunite as a Zone and enjoy Christmas activities with the Zanni family! As we baked sugar cookies, I was reminded of my younger days in Grandmas kitchen. We had our dough in front of us and an array of cut outs, it was then up to our imagination to make the coolest christmas cookies. Afterwards we walked to a rest home and sang hymns, It was a special day that helped remind me of the traditions from home :)
Elder Brock and I are still pretty lost here in Villegas but are ever grateful for the oppurtunity to be here in Villegas. A majority of our time was spent looking for members and asking people for directions... It´s pretty exhilrating opening up a new area.. thankful for the scripture of Proverbs 3:5-6 which reminds us to put our trust who has trusted in us, that being our loving Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ.
Enjoy the festives, enjoy the fam, and enjoy the wonder spirit of Christmas.. the spirit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Love, Elder Larsen
