Crazy to think that Thanksgiving has surpassed us and we are now entering the spirit of Christmas. As I think to back to my last Thanksgiving it seems like it should have just been a month ago that our family was enjoying the heart of the Wasatch back in Park City...
Elder More and I are happy to announce that we´ll be working together for another transfer here in Capitan Bermudez!! We´re excited and ever grateful for the oppurtunity to work alongside the members here in Bermudez. This past Sunday was the Primary Program and just like back home the kids sang and presented short phrases of gospel principals. It was a fun reminder of those glory days, thankful for all the teachers who were able to valiantly put up with my not so good behavior... Gracias :)
During the week a recently reactivated family, Flia. Ferryra called asking when we could do a Family Home Evening.. We scheduled it forSunday evening, and the FHE turned into quite the fiesta... Hermano Ferryra is an awesome fun loving pretty big guy, really similar to my Uncle David. He runs a mechanic shop alongside his humble home and has an awesome young family of 2 boys, Lisandro (10) and Donato (7).. During church I´m pretty sure Hermano Ferryra invited every family to his home that evening to eat his wife's famous home made pizza and enjoy Family Home Evening with the Elders.. We arrived a little late with the investigators, Raul and Suzanna, and the ´Family Home Evening´ should have been substituted with ´Family Home Fiesta´.. There was almost a better attendence then in the capilla as many families were brought together.. It has been awesome to see the small changes in the ward through examples like Hermano Ferryra, He´s a little crazy but an awesome man with a huge heart. He shared a touching testimony that evening that brought the warmth of Holy Spirit into the home... Grateful for examples of Priesthood men like Hermano Ferryra in my life, their are a lot of you and I´m ever grateful for your examples of men converted to Christ.
I love you all! Enjoy the holiday season!
