What a week! Hard to believe it's another Pday has come and gone here in beautiful La Emilia Argetina :)
This past Tuesday we had to travel to the big city of Rosario to help out my Companion get legal in Argetina. He only has 10 more weeks here but as of Tuesday he is finally legal! Rosario is a pretty crazy city especially in comparison to our little La Emilia.. I know that throughout my mission I will have a variety of areas that will bring all sorts of new experiences :)
I am so grateful of the lessons of our mission president, President Zanny. In his letter this past week he said Yes a major part of our mission is physical work, but the most important part of our mission is the Spiritual work!" I testify of this statement and know it's true! The comfort and guidance of the Holy Ghost in my life is something I am constantly thanking our Heavenly Father for and I know that with his help we can do all things God has asked us to do :) as in Mosiah 5 : 2 He can help us do good continually!
Kind of a cool story that happened this week was as I promised we were going to start signing hymns to people :) it was around 9:15 on Friday night and their was a group of middle aged women who were just chattting in the street. We quickly introduced ourselves and asked if we could sing a short hymn... I was grateful for the voice of my companion because with my voice I don't think they could have felt the spirit... But it was just a really cool experience that took some courage. They kindly thanked us and quickly asked questions about what church we were from. We were able to leave some pamphlets and give a brief rundown of the restoration. I don't know if anything will come from it but they will always remember the night they felt the spirit with singing mormon missions from North America! And that's what's important, they had the oppurtuninity to feel the love of our Heavenly Father through the Holy Spirit :)
¡Gracias por todo, le queiro muchisimo!
